Event Registration

the signed, being of at least 19 years of age (or have the consent of a legal guardian, and have a legal guardian present within them in the boat during the event) in consideration to participate in any way in the expressed event ("Event"), agree and acknowledge:

Event: Apex Fire Brigade Society Fundraising Derby
Date of Event: Sunday, June 15th, 2025

In signing this application, in values received and other considerations, I hereby release the host Apex Fire Brigade Society, its owners, agents, employees, sponsors, affiliates, and tournament officials from all damages, claims, demands, costs, or expenses relating to injury of any persons or damage to any property which I may sustain or which I may cause because of participating in or in connection with this or any other Apex Fire Brigade Society events. I further agree that I will never sue, or cause to be sued, any of the above for damages on account of any injury or damage I suffer or cause, whether known now or which may develop in the future, in connection with or any other event by Apex Fire Brigade Society. In the event any of the above are sued because of my actions, I expressly agree to indemnify and hold each harmless from any liability whatsoever, including court costs and attorney fees arising concerning such actions.

Assumption of Risk:

I acknowledge that this event involves certain risks and hazards, including the risk of accidental injury or death, or loss or damage to property, resulting from inclement weather, accidents, equipment malfunctions, collisions, drowning, equipment and gear, and related injuries. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE Event Holder or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation in this Event.
